The solar landscape continues to evolve—and so do we.

At Solargraf, we’re committed to helping solar professionals’ close deals faster and deliver compliant, high-quality permit plan sets to fast-track installs. Over Q2 2025, we’ve rolled out powerful new features and workflow improvements across proposals, permitting, and financing.

From design and permit improvements to upgraded APIs, Solargraf’s new enhancements are revolutionary.

Here’s what’s new:

Smarter system design

Pathway automation

Solargraf now supports automated pathway design with the flexibility to make manual adjustments, streamlining wire runs within the design interface.

Minimum TSRF for panel placement

Set a minimum TSRF value to avoid placing panels in heavily shaded areas, ensuring higher system performance.

Download and review system loss

Users now have ability to download and review the system losses in the design based on three broad categories including irradiance, DC and AC losses with finer granularity.

PCS for grid forming systems

Installers can now model main panel avoidance and export power limit PCS for grid forming PV and battery systems.

Ratchet demand charges

Rachet billing type with minimum demand cap and 11 months lookback demand period can be modelled by installers.

Proposal improvements

Placeholders for new proposals

Use placeholders in custom text sections for faster, reusable proposal creation.

Enhanced customizations

Improved company settings navigation

Cleaner, more intuitive layout enables easy updates and team-wide setting consistency.

Updated user’s table

The user management interface has now key details such as last project creation and login details, making it easier to monitor user activity at a glance.

Expanded financing experience

GoodLeap TPO integration

Solargraf now offers seamless TPO application with GoodLeap directly from the platform, speeding up project financing.

Faster and more compliant permits

Busbar PCS SLD support in backup mode

Support for Bubbar PCS (Enphase systems) has been expanded to include backup mode configurations.

Verified calculations & PE stamps

Support for structural and electrical calculations that meet standards, and the ability to request PE stamps directly from Solargraf.

Additional AHJ coverage & markers

Solargraf continues to expand AHJ coverage and now allows additional site markers—like roof edges, street names, and mechanical room labels—on plan sets.

Breaker size exclusion in SLDs

Define which breaker sizes should be excluded when generating your SLDs, giving you more control over plan accuracy.

Battery disconnect marker option

Battery disconnect switch can now be included on plan sets, offering increased clarity and compliance.

Contractor signature and client details in permits

Users can now include contractor signature and client-specific details in the automated permit set for added professionalism and completeness.

Upgraded document templates and APIs
