Battery modes in Solargraf define the primary purpose for which the battery will be used by the homeowner. You can include the following modes in your Solargraf webquote:

• Backup during outages: This mode of operation assumes the battery will only be utilized in case of a grid outage.
• Self-consumption: This mode prioritizes the use of available energy in the battery as well energy produced from solar. The grid is only utilized in the case that either solar or storage energy is not available.
• Savings (with export): This mode of operation prioritizes generating savings on the utility bill. Note, this type of model is only available if a time-of-use tariff is selected on the project Utility Settings.
