Select appropriate post solar tariff
Solargraf has added new tariffs supporting IL NEM changes. The tariffs with the standard naming convention correspond to the new tariffs (Ex: BES – Residential – Single family) The old tariffs have an “Net Metered” tag associated to the retail NEM (Ex: BES – Residential - Single family – Net Metered).

Select hourly tariffs if dynamic tariffs need to be modeled.

Select the correct methodology to offset non-bypassable charges with excess credits
Solargraf will select the correct methodology to offset non-bypassable charges with excess credits. In case of any changes, COMED utility should have this option checked, AMEREN and MidAmerican should have this option unchecked.
Note: Checking this option will let Solargraf apply any excess supply credits (from net exports) to offset other non-bypassable components of the bill (fixed costs, transmission costs, and distribution costs).

Add applicable Solar and Battery incentives
- Add "DG Rebate (Solar)" and "DG Rebate (Battery)" for solar and battery projects, respectively.
Note: The "DG Rebate (Battery)" applies only when the homeowner switches to an hourly (dynamic) tariff.

The Webquote will reflect calculations based on the new reduced sell rate. Solargraf will automatically account for the reduced net metering benefit, considering only the supply charges of the retail rate.
