The following guide provides information on how to view tariff rates components for US tariffs that are auto applied.

Select a tariff that is auto fetched based on Zipcode

• On the pre-design or project utility page, make sure to enable the “Fetch utility/tariff rates automatically (recommended)” option. Then, select the appropriate tariff from the list provided.

Edit Tariff to view rates and edit tariff properties

• To view and edit tariff details, click the Edit Tariff button next to the selected rate. This will open a window displaying both the tariff properties and the associated rate structure.

• The Properties section includes key parameters such as inflation rates and credit rollover options, which are factored into the financial calculations.

Note: The grid properties selected for either the pre-solar or post-solar tariff will apply to the entire design option.

Tariff rates are auto populated

Tariff rates (found under the same window) such as Fixed rates, minimum amount, Usage rates ($/kWh), Demand rates ($/kW) and export/sell rate ($/kWh) are auto populated from Solargraf. These are the rates that are applied in the project's calculations.

Note: The fixed and minimum bills are average monthly values. Detailed values are populated in project data CSV. CA tariffs will have a negative fixed bill due to the presence of California climate credit.

Detailed rates available as Project data CSV

• Navigate to the project's Overview > Project data.

• Select Energy usage – hourly to get detailed hourly information about the project’s tariff rates, consumption, production, and battery profile.
